I would like to thank my driving instructor Jim for helping me pass my driving test. Jim was not only patient but made me feel comfortable during my lessons and really built my confidence up in the car. Jim's as always on time, had really good communication. For me Jim was not only a driving instructor he become a mate.

After having failed my first test just before going to university,I didn't drive again for nearly a year until someone recommended Jim. Before meeting Jim I had been trying to learn to drive back home in Cornwall. When I came to study in Eltham I was panicky about learning to drive in London,especially on a low student budget. However,Jim has been a brilliant driving instructor. He not only got me through my driving test but he also got me to become a more self-aware and confident driver. Alongside this he has been patient,respectful,flexible and easy to get along with. I got to know about Jim's school of motoring when I moved to Eltham just behind Jim's house. We saw his car parked with contact details while passing by and I am glad that me and my husband decided to contact Jim for lessons. He has been very patient throughout the sessions and I was very eager to get back behind the wheel on every single day I had a lesson. Also I wanted to mention that Jim is flexible for adjusting the timings of classes which could be a criteria of working professionals like me and my husband both. I had Jim's driving school recommended to me by a friend and I'm extremely glad that I did. Jim is an excellent instructor who is able to combine a good-humoured approach with the provision of first class practical advice which is invaluable both when learning to drive and when taking a test. Unlike the vast majority of driving schools that care about getting into your wallet, Jim cares more about you driving safely. Like many other adult drivers who have moved to the UK , I found the process of getting a driving licence quite daunting. Un like other instructors (I tried to previously), Jim taught me what I needed to know. Lessons were very much imformative with his high tech teaching methodology and made me to understand clearly. Thank you for everything. I took a gap year working at Eltham College before University. My mother had put pressure on me from the start of my gap year to get a British drivers license before I returned to South Africa. I postponed learning to drive untill the last 3 months of the year as I was extremely worried and frightened about anything to do with Cars/Driving. From my very first lesson with Jim in September (2013) he immediately settled my nerves by being patient, understanding and very generous with the Mint Imperials. Jim took time to explain and give advice on every query/question I asked him no matter how stupid it sounded in my head. Jim is always on time and extremely accommodating when it came to lesson times. His lessons are extremely well structured with each one managing to instill a little more confidence in myself every time we got back from a drive (The only driving I ever did before my test was in Jim's car as my parents live abroad so i couldn't practice in one of their own cars). My favorite memory of being out on the road with Jim was when I had had and extremely bad day of driving due to a night out before the lesson, Jim told me to pull over at a petrol station where not only did he fill up with petrol but he bought me a chocolate to cheer me up and assured me that there were better times ahead. I highly recommend Jim to anyone who is a novelty to driving or whatever their driving background. He really did do wonders with me and today I passed my Practical Driving Test at Sidcup Test Center (December 5th 2013). Thank you so much Jim.

"Having passed my driving test I still felt rather self conscious and nervous when driving . I took the pass plus course with Jim to give me confidence in driving on motorways. It not cheap, but without a doubt,the best money I have spent. It gave me enough knowledge, understanding and confidence that I took my family on numerous camping trips this summer. Jim was able to spot any bad habits that I had already got into. I now feel less restricted by where I can go and everything that I learnt before the driving test was revisited and reinforced. I hadn't driven for 5 years since passing my driving test,as I was very nervous on the road . I Started refresher driving lessons with Jim, and I was amazed at how quickly my driving ability and confidence improved,and my fears and self-doubt dissolved.so much so , that by the end of my refresher lessons, I undertook the pass puls day of driving, and surpassed all my expectations of what I could achieve behind the wheel. He is patient,easy to get along with and able to explain things in different ways to suit your learning needs,including the use of a tablet to demonstrate scenarios. When I first met Jim I had no experience of driving and was a nervous wreck. With his help (and the aid of tissues and mints) I gained confidence in my driving and

I would 100% recommend Jim to anyone about to take/retake lessons,he made me feel so comfortable straight from the first lesson. His sense of humour and the unlimited amount of mints made me look forward to my lesson every week.
